The purpose of this group is to encourage and facilitate parental involvement in school activities and decision-making processes. When parents are engaged and take part in school affairs, it creates a positive and supportive environment for students. Increased parental involvement is linked to improved academic performance, better attendance rates, and reduced behavioral issues among students. The Parent Council also aims to help build a sense of community among parents, teachers, and students. The Parent Council will be organizing social events, family-oriented activities, and collaborative projects that bring the school community together. This sense of community will create a supportive network, promote school spirit, and strengthen the overall school culture.
